hey, Penetration. What version of 4D 200 are you using? 18x20 or 16x19. I have played with 16x19 before but wasn't for me as power is so low. I am wanting to try 18x20, but want to hear from you before trying.
Hey Radical. The 4D 200 I am playing with is the 18x20 version.
322.5g unstrung, swingweight is about 330g-335g. Don't be afraid, it doesn't feel like that heavy when swinging it. the weight distribution is quite good.
I have tried both 16X19 and 18X20, I can tell you they are soooooooo different.
16x19 is around 312g unstrung. Honestly I couldn't find the sweetspot at all during trial. not only powerless but also unstable, especially when blocking heavy balls. I gave up trying it after 10 mins.
18x20 version is another story. much much more stable, powerful and comfortable. at baseline, it is very reliable, no problem to generate heavy top spin to the deep baseline on both sides, angle could be also sharp when I need it to, if you like to hit some heavy flat shots, it's even better.
when at net, the volley is excellent. very comfortable and precised, I can put the ball to any spot of the court I want to. Playing volley with 4D 200 is even better than playing with K90. K90 at net feel like a wood-board solid, but the 4D 200 18X20 gives me more feel.
Service. ok, this is the weakest part of the 4D 200, the string pattern isn't too good for top spin serve on my second. but first flat serve and slice are cool enuf. I also noticed I slightly lost a bit of pace instead of consistenty when serve. need a little more time to get use to.
I don't like 18x20 string pattern stick except this one.
Overall, this is an all-around stick, the weight is not a problem, I probably will stick to it. (though I am gonna try AG 100, haha)
if you wanna try it, PM me, bro.
