I've just picked up tennis as a recreational sport for 2 months and I'm now using Prince Triple Threat Graphite Oversize, which I've borrowed from my colleague. Weighing 318g, I've been feeling the racket pretty heavy for me though the grip (no.2) suits me. I would want to buy a new racket and found the following that seems good and not too expensive -
Umm... I think my power should be fine since I'm a regular basketball player prior to picking up tennis. I am looking at paying $500-800 but if the racket is really good and suitable, I'm opening the option to $1000.
i'd suggest the HEAD Prestige S on sale in GIGA Spxxts around town. ($850)
i guess you could be able to swing it fast, but you need to check out the racket balance/feel in your hand (local store gives you that important advantage), to see if it would feel too heavy to swing.
the TT Graphite OS is a good one. If you like it, a similar one would be HEAD Radical OS.
B4 you buy any racket, feel it personally in a pro-shop. That feeling is a better judge than any advice of a thousand words.
